Simple Blackberry Pizza

There are so many recipes out there for making pizza at home, when we came across this one by Catherine Frawley we jumped at the chance to have it on our site. This is a quick and easy version for people on the go that still want to have a delicious and different dinner. It can also be a fun activity to do with your kids and something that they will enjoy making!

Blackberry Pizza Recipe

This is so quick and easy and you can adapt the amounts or add to it to make it your own.


3 mini pizza bases or mini garlic breads / 1 large pizza base
300g (approx.) handpicked blackberries
125g drained weight mozzarella
50g Parmesan, grated
2 tbsp olive oil
salt & pepper to taste
fresh basil to garnish


1. If using a plain base (not garlic), drizzle over the olive oil. Pre-heat the oven to 200C
2. Add a handful of blackberries and smash them over the base, until the base is covered in red juices.
3. Tear and scatter over the mozzarella, add some whole blackberries on top.
4. Season to taste and add the grated Parmesan.
5. Cook for 10-15, until the base is golden and the cheeses are bubbling.
6. Remove from the oven, scatter over the fresh basil, slice and serve.
